Edition Three: Time
Introduction
Some entries in this edition have audio available
Time flies. Issue three already! So we’ve named this one “Time”, as it seemed pretty appropriate, and once again we’ve got some really amazing poems along our theme dotted throughout the issue, as well as some other brilliant work. The articles this issue are great, too – some of them are vicious and passionate, others are a bit calmer, but all of them will give you a lot to think about. We hope you like them!
We’ve always intended to create a community of young writers here, and this is going very well so far! To that end, some of the poets published this issue are regulars on our forum, where we discuss modern poetry and give help and advice on each other’s work. You have to be a member to join in with the workshop, but it’s free and we’re all very nice, so jump in! And if it’s not for you, just drop by and share some opinions on your favourite writers, hear about the latest events and writerly meet-ups, or just let us know what you’ve been up to lately. Charlotte G has also kindly added more to our links page, so you can jump off into the world of literature on the web with us as your map and compass. We hope it helps!
So, enjoy the issue, and let us know what you think. We like feedback! And if you’d like to submit to Issue 4, the optional theme is “Suck”. Take that one wherever you want, but see our brand spanking new Submissions page for practical guidelines. We look forward to seeing what you’ve got!
