Sky
by and published in Edition Ten of Pomegranate
Sky looks wrong tonight,
bruised and bewildered
in old lady purple.
Doilied unwittingly,
Moon boasts
an off-white bonnet,
garlic-frilled
and fag-skinned.
You watch Stars boil,
lost in the mirror
of a poor man’s ocean.
